Who is the Curious Apologist?

Hi, my name is Sawyer, and in this blog I delve into all types of questions and arguments surrounding the existence of God. Join me as we explore the intersections of Christianity, science, and philosophy. Your thoughts and questions are invaluable, and I encourage you to engage with the content and each other. My main goal with this blog is to get people really thinking about the big questions in life, and not just writing peoples beliefs off as dumb or ignorant. This is a place where I want people to engage with me and correct me if they think I am wrong. Ultimately, I just want the truth to be explored.

I grew up as a Southern Baptist in North Carolina (and still am), and I am a Christian. I believe the whole Bible, Old and New Testament, and I believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that God exists in three persons, otherwise known as the trinity. My main desire in life is to constantly grow in my knowledge of the Bible, science, philosophy, and all other religious beliefs. It is my belief that if you are constantly offended by what other people believe and are scared to question your own beliefs and put them to the test, subconsciously, you probably haven’t genuinely considered other arguments and viewpoints, leaving you feeling a sense of insecurity/fear/and doubt. We all have doubts, me included, which is why this blog exists, and why I enjoy dedicating time to exploring my doubts and questions. I believe there is an objective truth in this world. In my opinion it’s God, which is why I am not afraid of investigating things to the fullest extent. Ultimately, if truth is objective, then it will always stand up to intense scrutiny, which is why I have chosen to explore these questions with everyone.
